Anyone who has used a public restroom knows that skirts mean women and trousers mean men, so what if it was just that simple? This production will put the absurd in reductio ad absurdum with a world where a skirt or a pair of trousers is all it takes to determine one’s place in the gender binary. I’m also hoping to poke some fun at ivory-tower academia and ideological orthodoxy while following Ida’s real struggle as she realizes she can’t be a movement by herself.
